Who we are

Turning Pages is a 501c3 nonprofit founded in 1968 as the Greater Columbia Literacy Council and registered with the state of South Carolina. Turning Pages trains tutors who then are matched with adults wanting to build their skills in reading and writing.

Intake forms are kept for five years.

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. After you leave our program, you can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Your intake form lands in the email inbox of the staff responsible for that data monitoring. It remains stored in our database.
