Emily Davison

Emily Davison is a Columbia native. She has taught private piano lessons for the last twelve years. Her bachelors degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of South Carolina has a focus on education. Emily is the mother of two young girls, a military spouse, and a current Masters of Library and Information Sciences at the University of South Carolina. As an adult with learning difficulties, Emily understands the importance of encouraging others to seek the help they need to better their lives and the lives of their community. Emily was drawn to volunteer at Turning Pages SC both as a board member and a tutor because of her background of volunteering in the greater Midlands area and her work as a music educator.
