Dr. LeConte’ Middleton

Dr. LeConte’ R. Middleton is a career educator who joined Turning Pages as a Board Member in 2020. She has served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, school administrator and collegiate faculty for more than 20 years. She currently provides coaching and support to schools along their journey toward continuous improvement. LeConte’ developed a passion for literacy during childhood as she listened to family stories and folktales around a cozy, crackling fire. These experiences influenced her to venture into professional storytelling, drama and even directing children’s theater for several years. She and her husband, Herman, have four children and manage a growing hobby farm where they raise chickens and grow a variety of herbs, vegetables, fruits and heirloom plants year-round.
