Chris Keefer has been a Turning Pages tutor since 2016. She served as the organization’s chair from 2019 to 2022 and is the current Chief Financial Officer (Treasurer / Secretary) for the organization. After a long career in technical writing and editing, she is now in the midst of a second career in local government administration. Chris worked as director of Richland County’s Government & Community Services department, which builds partnerships with citizens, nonprofits, and other constituent groups. Natives of Pittsburgh (Go Steelers!), Chris and her husband Jay now live in Blythewood, SC.
