📣 Saturday Shoutout – Meet Our Board
Chris Keefer began as a tutor in 2016. She served as our board chair from 2019 to 2022 and is the current Chief Financial Officer / Treasurer / Secretary. After a long career in technical writing and editing, she is now in the midst of a second career in local government administration. Chris worked as director of Richland County’s Government & Community Services department, which builds partnerships with citizens, nonprofits, and other constituent groups. Natives of Pittsburgh (Go Steelers!), Chris and her husband Jay now live in Blythewood, SC.
Unique Skill: Chris has secured over $15,000 worth of grants in 2023!
