After the pandemic, LISA COLE (CEO of Literacy SC, formerly Turning Pages SC) transformed our programs, led our strategic rebrand and expanded access to adult education through partnerships with 24 public libraries across three counties. With an MBA and over two dozen years in the nonprofit sector, Lisa has led countless grassroots initiatives in change management, program development, community engagement, and strategic governance. She has served on six boards of directors (school, nonprofit, corporate), participated on over 40 committees, and worked on more than 300 policies that enhance educational equity at local and state levels.

Lisa is also an accomplished author and former founder of an indie publishing company that produced 12 books for local authors. As a mother of four, she brings a heartfelt love to everything she does, believing in the power of reading to change lives and strengthen communities. Her leadership journey includes participation in programs such as the United Way Blueprint for Leadership, Carolina Leadership Seminars (Together SC), and Leadership Columbia (Columbia Chamber.)
